US President Donald Trump was whisked off the stage at a rally in Butler Pennsylvania after shots were fired just minutes after he began speaking.
The incident happened on Saturday night, and the Secret Service quickly surrounded Trump and led him away from the stage.
There were no immediate reports of any injuries.
The shots were fired from a wooded area near the rally site, and police are still searching for the shooter.
In a statement released minutes after the shooting, tech billionaire Elon Musk publicly endorsed Trump.
Musk said that he believes Trump is "the best person to lead our country at this critical time."
Trump's campaign has not yet commented on the shooting or Musk's endorsement.
