England Bowled Out for Just 68 in Little Over an Hour on Third Morning

Head 152, Warner 106, England 142 all out

England were bowled out for just 68 in little over an hour on the third morning of the third Test against Australia at Headingley on Thursday. Scott Boland took six wickets for the tourists, while Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins took two each.

The hosts resumed on 53-3 but lost seven wickets for just 15 runs to slump to 68 all out. Boland was the chief destroyer, taking 6-7 in just 8.4 overs. Starc took 2-24 and Cummins 2-19.

The result leaves Australia needing just 113 runs to win the series with two Tests to play.

England's batting performance was their worst in a Test match since they were bowled out for 67 by Australia at Old Trafford in 2019.

The tourists will now be confident of wrapping up the series victory in the fourth Test at Old Trafford next week.
